Mary Holmes, Sales & Marketing Manager

Mary came to Missoula in 2000 simply looking for a change and a fresh place to start a new chapter in her life. Born and raised in a crowded western Washington she had a desire to live in a friendly “small town”. Moving to Missoula sight unseen she was pleasantly surprised when she discovered all that Missoula had to offer, and knew she had found home.

Mary’s hospitality career started at the Doubletree Missoula Edgewater, where she held several positions over a nearly six year period. In 2006 she ventured into the world of Sales as she joined the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown, first holding a Sales position and later the Director of Catering & Convention Services. After four years with the Holiday Inn Mary’s husband was transferred to Spokane Washington, where they lived for two years. During her time in Spokane she held the Director of Catering & Convention Services position for both the Red Lion Hotel at the Park and Red Lion River Inn. Mary and her husband happily moved back to Missoula in March of 2012, and she is thrilled to be a part of Destination Missoula and the TBID.
